It had been a long time since the last marriage celebrated in 2011, in our community. So there was a climate of great expectation for the marriage of UGOCHUKWU FESTUS ans MUMINATO CYNTHIA, last saturday 22 of april, 2017. The ceremony took place in the church of Nossa Senhora de Ajuda, at the presence of four priests (being fr. Celso the president of the celebration) and many members of our community. One could note, in particular, the presence of the Missionaries of Charity, who are great friends of the community.The local catholic community also contributed helping with the service of the altar and in the choir.
The celebration, during which Mrs. Muminato also received the sacrament of baptism, was joyful and lively, although it lasted almost two hours and a half. But everything was fine.After the holy mass, the congregation was invited at the bride's house, in Belem, in order to receive the blessing of the father's bride. The tradicional "copo de agua" took place at a place called "Tropicana Club", in the afternoon
