The news arrived like a thunderstorm: Epiphanie Ouattara Sarah died today, at the age of 45. But who was she?
The community took part in the 2nd "JORNADA DO BISPO", which was scheduled for 21st e 22nd of April, 2018. The venue, as usual, was in the premises of the Liceu diocesano "Joao XXIII" (a distinguished high school belonging to the Diocese). The program included, in the first day: a march, two matches of football (sisters and priests playing against the members of the organizing commission), a show of songs and poetry performed by the children of the kindergartens, whereas the second day was consecrated to the eucharistic celebration.
Here, we could play our part. We were mentioned at the beginning of the mass, because we were celebrating the 11th anniversary of foundation of our community, and then we were able to offer to our beloved bishop food and drinks, and a magnificent he-goat.
During the two-day celebration, many people appeared on the spot to show love, affection and solidarity to our bishops, who responded by spending all the time with the people and even playing footbal (during the first part of the match). 
It had been a long time since the last marriage celebrated in 2011, in our community. So there was a climate of great expectation for the marriage of UGOCHUKWU FESTUS ans MUMINATO CYNTHIA, last saturday 22 of april, 2017. The ceremony took place in the church of Nossa Senhora de Ajuda, at the presence of four priests (being fr. Celso the president of the celebration) and many members of our community. One could note, in particular, the presence of the Missionaries of Charity, who are great friends of the community.The local catholic community also contributed helping with the service of the altar and in the choir.
The celebration, during which Mrs. Muminato also received the sacrament of baptism, was joyful and lively, although it lasted almost two hours and a half. But everything was fine.
It took place on October 2, 2016, during the Sunday's celebration. We are talking about the group of "Our Good Mothers", which count at the moment about ten members, but with the ambition of growing more than that.
